I used Halloween at work as an excuse to wear my kilt.
Just before Amy’s nephew went trick or treating.
Tuckered out from the festivities.
Caden’s and my project after church the day after Halloween.
He loved this thing… for the three hours of it’s survival. He was so excited to show his cousin that he dropped it and it shattered.
This shirt says it all…
Enjoying the bigger swing for the first time.
Hanging out with Daddy before bed.
Ready for church in a dress from Grandma and the shoes Daddy bought when he found out they were having a girl.
As you can tell, this little girl makes life so wonderful. We love her tremendously. She drools a lot, blow bubbles, kicks like a frog, sings to her mommy and daddy, tries to grab off the blanket we use to block out the cold as we take her out to the car, and is so proud of herself for grabbing her toys and moving them around. We can’t believe that this Tuesday it will have been 3 MONTHS!
We’ve noticed how much more alert our child is now that she is starting to focus on objects. She loves the little Winnie the Pooh characters that hang above her bed and cooes and talks to them all the time.
Amy’s lifelong friend Christy came down from Washington with her husband to visit. They caught some amazing pictures of our little one.
And yes, we realize this blog has turned into something only Grandmothers would enjoy. But, who cares. She’s too cute to resist. We love her. We don’t have any recent photos because we’ve been sick. Thankfully, Chloe stays healthy through breast-feeding while Amy and I are on antibiotics to hopefully kill this cold so we can get back to a normal life.
It seems that I always end up posting something about Conference Weekend. We always get together with Amy’s family and it’s a wonderful time for pictures. Especially now that our little one is here.
I know it’s late but these are some pictures of our baby girl from two weekends ago. I always thought the baby photos my friends would post were cute but I now understand how hard it is not to post every single photo we take. She’s just too cute!
Finally, here are some pictures of Chloe meeting her huge extended family. She must have been so happy to have landed in this crowd. Her Aunt Chelsey has more pictures on her camera but this is what we have. Most of them are from when we were still in the hospital.
Hi Aunt Chelsey. Do you like my bow?
Oh, thanks Aunt Jenny for holding me so snug.
So, you’re one of my Grandmas? Is it okay if I stay like this for a long time?
Hi Grandpa! Yeah, I’ll keep you since you keep me warm.
What are you working on momma?
I think these clothes are too big for going to the doctor.
So, you’re my great-grandparents eh?
You know what would make you really great? My first driving lesson.
Ah, that’s nice, I love this stretch.
I gonna be a ballerina
Okay Daddy, you should probably do something productive like make momma lunch instead of posting pictures.
She’s feeding better now, knock on wood, so hopefully that’ll keep up. Both momma and baby are sleeping now. I don’t think we’ll post much for a few days.
We are so excited to have her home. We were only in the hospital from 4am Tuesday to 3pm on Wednesday. We thought we were going to have to wait until tomorrow.
Here she is not too happy that we woke her up to change her into her coming home outfit.
Here’s one I was trying to put into the slide show but it wouldn’t load for some reason. It’s shortly after she was born.
But, I know you all would rather see her.
In the car with Momma.
Daddy’s present to Momma and baby.
Putting together the chair while baby sleeps on the couch with Momma.
Daddy testing out his handy work with sleeping angel.
More to follow when we aren’t so tired. Videos and pictures with meeting Aunt’s and Uncle’s and Grandparents!
As a side note. Thank you all for your congratulations and well wishing. We really appreciate it and love you all.
Can't believe I fell so far behind in #NaNoWrimo last week. 5K words in two days. Still 1K behind todays minimum. Brain is out of words=bed. 1 week ago
