What have we done?!?!

How are we supposed to raise and discipline this cutie?

We didn’t take the hat to church because we thought it would bug her.

The following were right after work today.  We gave her a bath.  She seems to be getting into the concept of contact and kissing.  Look how much she loves her Momma.

“Daddy are you getting this? I’m kissing Momma!”

What a cute family I have!

Nice slobbery kiss for Momma.

Now, I truly am caught up.

Andrew’s Wedding

The morning of the wedding, Marcie came over for Amy to do her hair and makeup.  Chloe and I watched as I made the playlist for the reception.

I had to document the moment.

I didn’t take our camera to the temple.  Andrew and Marcie have the good pictures on Marcie’s facebook profile.  I do have this fun one of me and my siblings.  We have a cute sister huh!

I think Andrew’s reception was the most fun.  More casual than most.

The two Godard Princesses

I had fun dancing with these gorgeous girls.

Can you tell how much she loves her Aunt Joanne? Cute little hand holding Joanne’s chin.  So cute.

The cake.

The happy couple.

It was a good day.  Chloe started the day in a cute outfit but ended in just a onesie.

Meeting more Family

Andrew’s wedding was in mid January.  It was so much fun to have the whole family together.  I think we scared Marcie once she saw how Andrew was around his siblings.  Chloe seemed to really enjoy her cousins and family.

He beat her down here to Earth by a week.

They proved to us that they hanging out in Heaven.

Happy Grandma with the two newest (youngest I should say. Sorry Marcie) additions.

Cute little boys.  My nephews are handsome.

Yes, I teach my nephews well.

Have you ever seen happier Grandparents!  There’s plenty of room for more!

We seriously have too many pictures from those two weeks to post them all.  Amy, Chloe, and I spent Dec. 19, 20, and 21st in Kaysville with Amy’s family.  On the 22nd, we flew down to warm Florida to visit my parents.  They were so excited to see little Chloe and moderately enjoyed Amy and I ;)

Grandpa and Grandma seriously tried their best to spoil Chloe (as is their right as grandparents). On Christmas eve, Grandma had Chloe open a present with a new toy and Christmas jammies. Chloe seriously started to get into the gift idea.

Good night!  Santa will come while you are asleep.

“It’s Christmas Morning Grandma and Grandpa!”

I had fun helping Santa in the middle of the night to make it snow in Florida for Amy and Chloe.

Santa and Mrs. Claus hit a home run!

She lit up with every gift she got.  Amazing that at only four months old, she seriously understood this Christmas morning stuff.

Thanks for my bunnies Grandma!

New Sunday outfit from Grandma

Happy Grandpa

Christmas puzzle Amy and I did.

Amy and Grandma did some shopping for the little girl and had to have a photo shoot.

Amy and I got to go to the beach several times because my parents were begging to watch Chloe for us.

Sunday family photo

Last night in Florida.  She loves her Grandma.

Watching a chick flick with Grandma

Those are the visual highlights of Christmas in Florida.  We had a wonderful time sight-seeing and just relaxing by the pool and beach.  The weather was great.  The sights were wonderful.  We saw eight wild alligators on our way to the Seminole Indian reservation and museum.  The smallest alligator we saw was about three feet long.

Now I think we are caught up!

One of the many reasons why Amy and I smile so much more now.  And, why she is Princess Hiccup. She gives herself the hiccups when she does this.

We love her!

Princess Hiccup

Yes, we are slow on getting Christmas photos and stories up.  But, these are recent videos from my phone of our daughter.  Sorry about the poor quality.  But, by the time we got to these events, the camera battery was dead so we had to resort to my phone.

The first is from my little brother’s wedding reception friday night.  Chloe loves her cousin.

She finally figured out that where the head goes, the body follows.

Christmas update soon.

Learning

Chloe normally likes to stick her whole hand into her mouth and then extend her fingers; gagging herself.  Then, she discovered this:

That thumb is to tiny! We sat there cracking up at the seriously loud sucking noises she made on one thumb.

Last night, I was feeding Chloe a bottle Amy had prepared.  Chloe was so ready to eat that this is  how the majority of the feeding went.

Not even 4 months old yet and she totally held the bottle by herself.  Most of the time she kept it at the proper angle too.  You can see through the bottle to her other hand as she hold on tight.  So cute. She’s going to be so independent.

Catching Up

First a few pictures from Halloween.

Cute Chloe at Aunt Joanne’s house.

I used Halloween at work as an excuse to wear my kilt.

Just before Amy’s nephew went trick or treating.

Tuckered out from the festivities.

Caden’s and my project after church the day after Halloween.

He loved this thing… for the three hours of it’s survival.  He was so excited to show his cousin that he dropped it and it shattered.

This shirt says it all…

Enjoying the bigger swing for the first time.

Hanging out with Daddy before bed.

Ready for church in a dress from Grandma and the shoes Daddy bought when he found out they were having a girl.

As you can tell, this little girl makes life so wonderful.  We love her tremendously.  She drools a lot, blow bubbles, kicks like a frog, sings to her mommy and daddy, tries to grab off the blanket we use to block out the cold as we take her out to the car, and is so proud of herself for grabbing her toys and moving them around.  We can’t believe that this Tuesday it will have been 3 MONTHS!

We’ve noticed how much more alert our child is now that she is starting to focus on objects.  She loves the little Winnie the Pooh characters that hang above her bed and cooes and talks to them all the time.

Amy’s lifelong friend Christy came down from Washington with her husband to visit.  They caught some amazing pictures of our little one.

And yes, we realize this blog has turned into something only Grandmothers would enjoy.  But, who cares.  She’s too cute to resist.  We love her.  We don’t have any recent photos because we’ve been sick.  Thankfully, Chloe stays healthy through breast-feeding while Amy and I are on antibiotics to hopefully kill this cold so we can get back to a normal life.

Conference Weekend

It seems that I always end up posting something about Conference Weekend.  We always get together with Amy’s family and it’s a wonderful time for pictures.  Especially now that our little one is here.

Grandpa’s are always comfortable.
